The summer is finally in full swing, which means the year is nearly half over. (As of this writing, there are only 179 days left until Christmas!) That also means now is the perfect time to check in on our reading resolutions, and I’m excited to say that I’ve stuck to mine so far!
As you may recall, I pledged to read a book a month, and I’m right on track. Here's a list of the books I've read in 2015 up to this point:
- People I Want to Punch in the Throat by Jenn Mann
- The Dirt by Mötley Crüe
- Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert C. O'Brien
- Someone Could Get Hurt by Drew Magary
- Fresh Off the Boat by Eddie Huang
- We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver
- George by Alex Gino
- The Princess and the Pony by Kate Beaton
And I’ve read every issue of G. Willow Wilson’s Ms. Marvel series that’s been published so far this year!
Here are the next few books waiting on my nightstand (you may have spotted some of these in my summer book stack!):
- The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
- Broken Monsters by Lauren Beukes
- No Slam Dancing, No Stage Diving, No Spikes: An Oral History of New Jersey's Legendary City Gardens by Amy Yates Wuelfing and Steven DiLodovico
Have you been keeping up with your reading resolution?
